ITSD has been proud supporters of Greenfleet since 2009.

Greenfleet is an environmental not-for-profit organisation that supports and restores native forests and ecosystems which provides crucial habitat for endangered wildlife, reduce the impacts of climate change and overcome the devastating consequences of bushfires.

ITSD makes contributions to Greenfleet to offset our carbon emissions. Greenfleet has created more than 550 legally protected biodiverse forests in Australia and New Zealand over 25 years.

St Edmund’s College

ITSD has proudly supported people living with disability for many years.

Supporting people with disabilities within our workplace has been rewarding, creating a culture of inclusion, understanding and empathy has empowered all people at ITSD to be resilient advocates for all people in our diverse world.

Since 2012 ITSD has contributed through volunteering and sponsorship various events St Edmund’s College Wahroonga and St Gabriel’s School Castle Hill Disability Schools. In recent years ITSD has been a major supporter of Eddie’s Big Night. This event raises money to supply resources for students in areas of STEM, HOSPITALITY and ENTERTAINMENT. ITSD sponsored the production of the Eddie’s Cookbook for students and their families.

Dementia Australia

Dementia is a condition of the brain that is not a normal part of aging.

There  are many different effects of Dementia but in general it affects your mood, memory, thinking and behaviour. Dementia can happen to anyone, however it is more common 65 years and older. There is no cure at the moment but there is support and some treatment for symptoms.

In Australia over 421000 people live with dementia, and many many more people affected by dementia of a loved one. Dementia is the leading cause of death for women and the second leading cause of death.

ITSD supports Dementia Research and Dementia Support Programs through donations. This year ITSD will holding its first Memory Walk in support of people and the families living with Dementia.

Memory Walk & Jog

In NSW alone over 135000 people live with dementia.

A condition that significantly affects those diagnosed and their families.

By joining ITSD on this Memory Walk you are helping us raise awareness of Dementia and raise funds for Dementia Australia.

Dementia Australia provides support to individuals who have dementia, their families and caregivers. They raise awareness, support vital research and provide tools to support those who need them.

Help ITSD raise awareness and bring down the walls associated with Dementia by walking with us. Afterwards join us for refreshments.

ITSD held its first ITSD memory walk at Parramatta Park in October 2024 for Dementia Australia. Raising just under $5000 for people and families living Dementia. ITSD will run its second event on 26th October 2025. Be sure to look for the information soon to register and join us on this walk to support and raise awareness for the over 135 000 people in NSW alone living with dementia.

 

Red Dust

ITSD proudly supports the organisation RED DUST.

Red Dust works with community leaders and elders to create a stronger model of health and well being within remote Indigenous communities within Australia.

ITSD staff receive a Red Dust Toothbrush yearly as a commitment to provide Reconciliation beyond the workplace. The symbol of the Red Dust Bamboo Toothbrush empowers us all to be a part of the larger story.
